No great surprises in this coming of age/overcoming adversity film in which a group of high school girls decide to form a band to play at the school's festival, but the cast are suitably charming and it passes the time easily enough. Bae Doona's elastic face is put to good use, and her character was the most interesting... what little you really learn about her.
