I guess WANDERING GINZA BUTTERFLY was the Meiko Kaji reboot project. For the most part it is a rather heart-warming film about the adventures of the good natured hostesses and assorted ne'er do wells in a Tokyo nightlife district, banding together to survive their economic woes... it's nice to see Meiko Kaji looking happy and healthy for once, so it comes as quite a surprise when in the last 10 minutes somebody crosses a line and things turn all LADY SNOWBLOOD.
