In many ways a retread of Wandering Ginza Butterfly, though with a darker and more violent tone almost from the start. This time we get more of Nami's backstory, and a new partner in crime in the form of a charismatically quirky Sonny Chiba. They make a great team.

I think it's a plausible assumption that the film was an influence on Wong Jing's gambling films, with definite echoes in God Of Gamblers. I have no idea what the game they play is, or how they know who won.
