Just watched WONDERFUL DAYS, and thought it was quite astonishing. The detail and quality of both the CG and hand drawn animation is just mindblowing, and the two techniques blend seamlessly.

Yes, the story is not the best, but it's not too bad either. The main problem is that 85 minutes is not long enough to develop it - I'm sure it was intended to be longer, but budget must have interfered, as it seems to suddenly switch and rush to the end at one point.

It's a real shame the film bombed at the box office, as I'd love to see the people that made it get more backing to do something bigger and bolder next time round. I guess it's up to us to buy enough DVDs to fund the next one

I thought the music was excellent, apart from a few rather pointless pop songs.
