Fairly standard Eighties cops & robbers movie, brightened up by the presence of Stephen Chiau. Shing Fui-On plays a nasty bad guy whose gang are involved in assorted armed robberies. Chiau plays the car thief & driver they always get to provide their rides. Danny Lee is the hard-assed cop who doesn't play by the rules, and whose new superior is an asshole. By and by, Chiau gets involved over his head and has to choose whether or not to co-operate with Danny Lee or not. It's one of those rock/hard place situations as whether he sides with the cops or the robbers it seems that he's more likely to end up dead than not.

Nothing mould-breaking or earth-shattering here, but a good solid movie that is held together mainly by Chiau and Lee's performances.
