Queen's High (1991)

A series of betrayals and back-stabbings bring chaos to the high stakes world of criminal capitalism in boom-era Hong Kong.

Queen's High is erroneously titled In The Line Of Duty - The Beginning in places, it shares some DNA with the ITLOD series but is not related... unless you accept the theory that the only unifying feature of the series is the presence of Eddie Maher.

The film is a solid if basic slice of Hong Kong action, with nothing to make it especially stand out from the crowd but some competent action. The plot is a bit of a mess, and in too much of a rush to kill off major characters, but at least it keeps you on your toes.
