ELIMINATION PURSUIT has the look and feel of a Chu Yuan Gu Long adapatation - the colourful characters, dreamlike logic and mysterious rules of the jiang hu. The plot is minimal - someone hires a couple of top fighters to root out and eliminate the Devil Clan, who have been going around conspicuously killing folk.

There are a ton of fights, practically constant from start to end, but the choreography is rudimentary and the filming and editing is pretty basic, so none of them are particularly exciting.

The film was clearly shot on a limited budget and the available version is taken from a faded and scratched print, so it doesn't have the visual opulence of a remastered Shaw Brothers production.

In short, there are countless better and better preserved examples of the genre so there isn't much of a reason to spend time on this one.
