One of those films I've had for over 20 years and never quite got around to watching. Not sure why, I like Bigas Luna and I like Piano Magic so it shouldn't be a hard sell. I think I had it mixed up with THE SEA INSIDE for a while, which sounds kind of depressing (still haven't seen that either).

Actually I can't remember if I discovered Piano Magic via the film or vice versa, but either way I listened to the soundtrack long before watching the film.

Anyway, on to the film itself... I don't have much to say about it. It's of its era, takes itself a bit too seriously, never really confronts the central detail of its plot and has a fair amount of knobbing.

I can't really get behind these passion tales, it's all a bit egoistical. Just... grow up, get over yourselves.
