Cheng Pei-Pei finds herself guardian of the baby crown prince after an evil eunuch usurps the throne. She is joined by boozy beggar Yueh Hua on a road trip to restore the empire. Comparisons to Come Drink With Me are inevitable I suppose, and inevitably the result is "Lo Wei is no King Hu", but it's definitely one of his better efforts as director, and a most enjoyable tale of chivalry and heroism. Nice fights, too :)
