Another Union Films production, the director would go on to direct Brigitte Lin's debut film a few years later but little else of note.
A solid story that's not entirely predictable, high production values, decent action for the time and a likeable leading lady all make for... nothing especially memorable, tbh, but it's a respectable entry in a crowded genre.
The film is also known as Iron Petticoat, though not for any discernable reason - there is an almost complete lack of metallic undergarments to be found in the film.
