The Tit and the Moon (1994)

I don't think I appreciated LA TETA Y LA LUNA much when I saw it on VHS in the 1990's, but returning to it now as an older and wiser man trying to learn Spanish, it is really a rather magical and unique film - whimsical and insightful, as its young narrator attempts to make sense of the confusing behaviour of the adults around him.

It's also a film that probably couldn't be made in this day and age, with themes and images that would doubtless be deemed "problematic".
