Citizen Dog (2004)

Quirky romantic comedy from the director of Tears Of The Black Tiger. Very imaginative and original, and visually very impressive. Like a hybrid of Monrak Transistor and AMELIE.

The film has a very bold look, especially reminiscent of the cinematography and production design in AMELIE, a candy-coloured world with surreal happenings and a slightly dark undercurrent but an ultimate message of hope, and the triumph of virtue.
